Miri Pickleball Association is dedicated to providing updates on pickleball in the Miri Division.
We believe that pickleball has the power to bring people together, foster a strong sense of community, and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. Our goal is to inspire individuals to embrace the sport, while contributing to the growth and development of pickleball in Miri. Our Objectives
As the Miri Pickleball Association, the objectives of the Association are as follows:

To develop, encourage and promote the sport of Pickleball throughout Miri Division

To plan and develop athletes, officials, coaches and unearth new talents;

To select athletes to represent Malaysia in any divisional level Pickleball Sport competition
​

Represent Miri Division in state sports body representing the sport of Pickleball;
​

To join representative bodies at the state level; and
​

To promote the development of sports at the grassroots level through the establishment / admission of affiliates at the club level
The functions of the Association are as follows:

Act as a representative body at the Miri Division level for the Pickleball sport;

​Develop, operate, promote and manage the Pickleball sport in Miri Division;
​

Interpret and implement rules and laws set by international, national and state bodies;

Create awareness on the importance of the rules and laws of the Pickleball sport among the members involved;

Conduct courses, training, athlete development, coaching, staffing and volunteers;

Organizing or assisting in organizing and hosting competitions for the Pickleball sport at Divisional level. For organizing at the national and international level, the Association must obtain approval from the governing body / representative;

Resolve any issue or conflict involving its members including officers and office holders in the Association;

Maintain good relations with governing bodies / representatives and other sports bodies or agencies at the Divisional level;

Ensure that the selection procedure of sportsmen, officials, coaches and any other person to represent Miri Division in Pickleball sport is open and fair;

Ensure that each program and activity is implemented based on the constitution and the regulations under it;

Ensure the constitution and rules of the Association are obeyed by all members;

Ensure activity reports and audited financial accounts for the previous financial year are prepared;

Ensure that charity or business activities carried out to increase the association's finances do not conflict with national laws; and

Ensure that all profits earned by the Association through any business or investment will be used solely to improve, advance and carry out the objectives and goals of the Association. However, this provision does not prevent the payment of salaries or expenses to members or employees of this association. The association can also establish a business company and can own property with the condition that profits must be included in the Association's Financial Fund.
